This website provides resources for students and employees interested in or planning to travel abroad for educational, academic, or business purposes. This site provides information on how to register travel with the university, resources for all travelers, as well as procedures that must be observed when traveling to areas that might be unsafe or require specific export/import procedures.

Students traveling for independent or research related travel  (e.g., conference, side trip, research, etc.) must register travel here.

In accordance with University Policy 1134, All travelers are required to register international travel with the university. The university requires registration in order to provide insurance, assistance, and information to travelers in the event of an emergency.

University Funded Travel: All travel paid for or reimbursed by George Mason. Faculty and staff register travel in Chrome River.

Independent Professional Travel: Travel not paid for or reimbursed by George Mason. Faculty and staff register travel in RAMP here.

Registration is also required to ensure that travelers are aware of travel resources available to them through the university and policies/procedures regarding covered travel. See Travel Resources.
